Our Mission

Our Mission is simple, all puppies in need of care and a safe place are a Pudgy and no Pudgy is left behind...ever. You could say our Pudgy's are the ones that someone left behind but it wasn't us. They have come from many different circumstances and none of them good. Some have been dumped by puppy mills because they didn't meet quality control, some have been dumped by breeders buying from wholesalers when the puppy gets older than 8.5 weeks. Some have been surrendered to us because a spontaneous decision was made. All of our puppies are a little older than if you purchased from a breeder usually between 9.5 to 12 weeks - everyone wants an 8 week old puppy leaving these guys behind. 

Our Pudgy's live with us, we work with them everyday to get them well and teach them manners. They are health checked, first set of vaccines (or 2 sets depending on the age) and dewormed usually more than once. They are raw fed using Bold By Nature to ensure top nutrition with immediate bioavailabilty. After they are well enough we start working with them on manners. When they go home they have been: pee pad trained, car trained, crate trained, siren trained, vacuum trained. They are socialized with other dogs and people they also sleep through the night. Our job is to remove all the frustrations and obstacles that make new puppy parents give up rehoming the puppy or putting them into the shelter system. 

At Pudgy's Place we provide a place where our Pudgy's and people play together ETHICALLY. Puppy Pilates, Snuggle Sessions, Puppy Yoga Hammock and more are all done in a clean enriched environment where they live and play.
